These notes are based on a letter written by Kelly after he had been advised by Newton. The official dates of our 60th Year Reunion are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, June 28, 29 and 30. These dates make it possible for us to attend President Dickey's reception Friday night, the meeting of the General Association of Alumni in Webster Hall, Saturday forenoon, and a Reunion Memorial service, Sunday morning. Newton has also secured reservation of a table in the dining room at the Inn for our Class Dinner, Saturday evening.
Mrs. Sayre says that rooms will be assigned to us as closely together as possible. If any of us who expect to attend have not yet made reservations at the Inn they should do so at once, for the town, as well as the Inn, will be "full up" on the last three days in June.
This Reunion will bring together for the first time all the. classes which were in college with us, with the exception of '87, and they always have a delegation at Commencement. This gathering of the men of the 'Bos promises to be a very happy occasion—don't miss it.
The double purpose of the Alumni Fund this year, and the habit of responding which has characterized the class in the past, will be able to carry '86 through to the position of leadership which we have achieved in recent years. Newton, Kelly and I all say: Please double your contributions if possible; if not, do the best you can. Anyhow, split it 50-50 between the Hopkins Memorial and the regular Fund. Use the form, if you have one, and mail direct to the Dartmouth Alumni Fund, Hanover, N. H.
Kelly started north from Florida May 8. Newton's address will be Windsor, Vt., from about June 8 until June 25, then Lyme, N. H., until our Reunion.
