In the MAGAZINE last November we announced, without details, the death of Alexander P. Nelson. Although our source of information seemed dependable it proved not to be. As you may remember, since Sparhawk retired from the American Bridge Co., he has been with the Pittsburgh Agency of the New England Mutual Life Insurance Co. His home is in Beaver, Pa. The April bulletin of the agency contained this tribute: "Eight years ago George F. Sparhawk signed his New England Mutual agent's contract, at a time when many men are willing to let their efforts grow slack. Our best wishes to him. He has earned our respect for his ability, knowledge and stamina in the years he has been associated with us."
Secretary, 501 Boylston St., Boston, Mass.
