AT THE DARTMOUTH SECRETARIES' meeting in New York on April 3rd, five of Connecticut's eight secretaries were present. They were: Everett E. Robie '17, Robert W. Naramore '35, Francis T. Fenn Jr. '37, George L. Thomas '34 and the undersigned. It was an excellent meeting and we all got a great deal out of it. Of course the highlight of the meeting was a wonderfully fine talk to us by Hoppy. We missed Hanover, but a Dartmouth gettogether is like no other conclave, wherever it is held.

On April 22nd the New Haven Club met, with Red Rolfe '31, Yale's present basketball and baseball coach, as the main attraction. He spoke both formally and informally, and from all accounts it was an interesting and pleasant evening. Those in attendance had at least one serious moment during which the following men were elected officers for the ensuing year: President, Gordon Colby '27; vice-president, Jim Hamilton '22; treasurer, Whit Gowrie '24; secretary, George Lane '29.
