. Ran across Walt Powers in Boston early in. August and, as usual, he had a "tall fish tail" to tell. This was for the special benefit of Joe Nuelle. An 84-pound boy caught a 69-pound muskalonge and was being pulled around the lake, boat and all. Someone phoned the police, who succeeded in rescuing all three.. Major Langdon Powers is operating, in England and France and Walter is a captain, now in Italy.
Have just learned that Bill Donovan died: on October 17, 1942. Fred Scribner passed away on July 17, 1944.
Lt. Ralph B. Hartman was ki-Ued in the ammunition explosion at Port Chicago, Calif., in July.
While arrangements have not been made as yet, the annual class dinner in Boston will probably be held the night before the NotreDame game—Friday, October 13.
