In looking over an 1881 number of TheDartmouth we note some familiar names:- Frost the Jeweller, Langill the Photographer, Carter's Restaurant, Rand's Furniture, Swasey's Livery Stable. Pa Leeds is mentioned, also Prexy Bartlett, Bailey '85, who won a hundred-yards dash in seconds; and Parkhurst '78, just elected principal of Winchester High School. Ternpus fugit.
