We are holding for next month, or such time as ample space will allow, a group of letters from CHUCK BROWN, written from somewhere in Sicily. These tell a quite amazing story of his work in editing a 1100- page report, including maps, charts, and so on, of our amphibious landings in North Africa and Sicily.
Due to limitations on space we've had to waive the old practice of occasionally dropping into the record a photograph of some wee bairn or lass, married couple, or other incidentals of family life. However, we do want pictures, particularly those of service men, and will print practically anything along that line (example: McCarty on octupi-spearing, our recent shot of which was reprinted by one of the Dallas dailies, and now without a credit to this journal). So send in what you can.
We are sorry to have to report the loss of another classmate, Warrant Officer WILLIAM W. BRADT, killed in a fall from an Army ambulance on 1 December 1943. The only son of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Bradt of Thiensville, Wisconsin, Bill had served with the Army since 2 July 1942. rising to his present rank on 1 May 1943. His cheerful presence amongst us and his loyal devotion to Dartmouth will be greatly missed.
