Peter Bridges was recently assigned to our Embassy in Rome. He has been in the Foreign Service since 1957. Prior to Rome he was in Washington, D. C., working in the Arms Control and Disarmament Agency as a "supposed" Soviet expert (the quotes are his). Pete has also served in our Moscow Embassy. He says that during his tour there, he once got to Yakutsk far up on the Lena River. He thinks that few, if any, Dartmouth men since John Ledyard have been that far. In spite of the floods and smog, Pete and Mary Jane think Rome is delightful.

Eastman Kodak of Rochester, N. Y., has appointed Warren Cole international coordinator for its business systems markets division. Warren, who also has an M.B.A. from Tuck, began his Kodak career in 1954 with the Recordak Corporation, a subsidiary which has been integrated into the company's business systems markets division. He served as a Recordak sales representative, systems analyst, product manager, and product and sales planning coordinator. He is a member of the National Microfilm Association, the International Operations Council of the Business Equipment Manufacturing Association, and the International Micrographic Congress.

1966, particularly November, was a good year for Dick Fleming. He moved to Washington, D. C., last April as Associate Research Director of the Republican National Committee. Dick modestly claims only a fair portion of the credit for the significant Republican gains last November. His work is varied and includes everything from demographic analyses to speech making. ChuckKettering has been named to serve on the eight-member advisory committee on supplementary educational centers and services by the U.S. Office of Education. The committee advises the U.S. Commissioner of Education regarding changes in schools. Dr. Alan Sessler has been appointed an instructor in anesthesiology in the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, University of Minnesota, at Rochester.

Bob Poor has been named chairman of the Northeastern Connecticut Regional Community College Committee. Bob works at Rogers Corporation where he is manager of personnel development and also serves as the executive officer of Naval Reserve Surface Division in Worcester, Mass. Brock Brower has made a move that many of us will envy. He has moved to Hanover where he will concentrate full time on his writing. Brock finished a novel last summer and just received word that it will be published by Athenaeum next fall. He had a one-act play of his read at the American Place Theater and is now working on a long play about politics. As most of you know he has had several articles published in Life, Holiday, and other leading magazines.

Bruce Cole transferred back to the New York area from Puerto Rico last year. He is now Export Manager, Caribbean, Central, and South America with General Foods. Last September, Bruce and Mary went to Mozambique on a safari where he says the hunting was great. He got a leopard which has become a rug in their family room. Tom Wilson made a job change and move last year from Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati to McKinsey in New York. Tom and Molly are living in Manhattan at 118 East 61st Street and sailing out of Cedar Point Yacht Club in Westport, Conn.

Dave Halloran rejoined Douglas Aircraft and moved back to California from Washington, D. C. The family has settled in the southwestern part of the San Fernando Valley, north of Los Angeles. They're all ready for' Southern California outdoor living with a swimming pool and related outdoor equipment.

Two last-minute income tax deductions arrived for Jack Crisp and Bob Henderson. Darcy Ann Crisp was born December 3, a first daughter to go with two older brothers. Edward David Henderson was born December 27 and joins three older brothers.
