Lester Garvin writes from Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he is a hard working banker having gone down to South America with the National City Bank in 1940. Lester accuses himself of having become badly affected by the Latin trait for leaving everything until manana. However, this does not extend to all his activities as he married a Smith girl in Chile about a year and a half ago and is now the proud father of a seven months old daughter. Lester's comments on Argentina and her domestic and international policies are enlightening. No one there seems to know which way the Government is turning. He sums it up by saying that the Government is composed of militarists who have been too long under the influence of German doctrines. Technically, Argentina has broken relations with Germany and Japan, but actually, Lester reports, she seems to have done very little about it All Sey Oschner's friends will be glad to know that he is continuing to get healthier and healthier It is said that PatDoherty is now on active sea duty....
