The annual informal reunion of the Class of 1893 took place June 16 and 17. Present were Editor Harry Metcalf, Mrs. Metcalf, Engineer "Jon" Child, Judge "Ed" Griffith, Dr. "King" Martyn, Dr. "Lill" Eaton, D.M.C. '93, and your Secretary. Headquarters were at Room 1 and 2, Hanover Inn. Mrs. "Peggy" Sayre, full manager of the Inn during Ford's absence as Captain in the Army, Mrs. Ives, her most capable and affable assistant, and all the rest of the force of the Inn were most helpful in making our get-together a great success. What assisted greatly also was meeting so many '94 men. We really had a great time. It was voted unanimously at a 100% attendance meeting, Publisher Harry Metcalf presiding, to hold our 50th reunion (postponed) next year.

During the preceding weekend (June 9-10) Treasurer Fred Morrill and your secretary were at Hanover attending meetings of the Treasurers', Class Agents' and Secretaries' Associations.

"Sam" Hunt has started something. He has sent his check for $5,000.00, payable to the College, to College Treasurer Edgerton. Full details have not been worked out but presumably it is to start a '93 Class fund of $10,000.00, the income from which is to be used to assist at Dartmouth a student to be selected each year. Members of the Class can contribute to this fund. Let us hear from YOU.

Word has been had directly or indirectly from a number of our classmates but not from as many as we would like.

Dr. George Pender is as busy as can be taking care of the health of the prominent citizens of Portsmouth and officials of the Navy.

"Dayton" Miller has been bothered by our sweetheart "Angie"—meaning Angina, and has been taking it easy in consequence. Reports are not serious.

"Billie" Jarvis writes that "Bill Jr." has been in the American Field Service for a year and a half; was home in May, but soon to go to India. Young Bill was graduated from Harvard Law School, Class of '42.

Thanks to George Dodge, who seems to be all right again, we received a clipping from the June 21 Manchester, N. H., "Leader," picturing Harry McLaren, Mrs. McLaren and Manchester School officials at a banquet honoring Harry. It was the 50th anniversary of his teaching at the Manchester High School. A fine printed tribute accompanied the picture.

Judge Griffith is again a granddaddy; his daughter Mary Louise Townsend is the mother, and the baby, born June r, is named Mary—"it's a grand old name."

Dr. Harry Sanders of Claremont was laid low some time ago by a thrombosis, but has succeeded in overcoming it and is now back in practice but going a little more carefully. Harry is still the leading practicing physician in Sullivan County.
