Dwight Hiesiand, who for many years has made his home and practiced his teaching profession in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, now reports his address as c/o Mrs. Harry E. Smith, 150 S. Quintens Road, Palatine, Ill. However, don't expect to find him there, should you have an opportunity to ring the doorbell. Dwight recently wrote from Port of Spain, Trinidad, "I have been traveling around down here for the past year and a half, as my British Virgin Island place has been rented out. That address of my sister will do for me for the time being. Just returned from British Guiana." Dwight certainly gets around!

The trustees of Rockford College have recently approved the establishment of the J. Agard Bartlett Memorial Library Fund. The Fund will consist of contributions received from his many friends, and the income will be used to purchase books for the college library, in each of which will be a special bookplate memorializing our classmate. Contributions may be sent to Rockford College.

John Jewett writes that "retirement is doing nicely." He has a cute house near Meredith, N. H., is a member of the school committee and active in many ways.

Greb has this interesting tale to tell. He had a business reason for writing to Winston Churchill in 1914 about some life-saving equipment. Recently he wrote Sir Winston again, referring to their former common interest and congratulating him on his 80th birthday. A prompt reply came back in Churchill's own handwriting on 10 Downing St. paper, reading: "I am so much obliged to you for your very kind token of good will on my birthday." -Will Greb preserve that letter for his descendants!

Ted Redington has reported a new address in Santa Barbara, Calif. Don't know whether it's temporary or permanent, but will try to find out.

Alvin G. Whitney, who has been assistant director of the New York Museum and Science Service in Albany for many years, retired in July 1953. His present address is 104 Adams Place, Delmar, N. Y. He suggests that he may return to Hanover in June for '07's informal reunion, — in which event he will receive a cordial welcome.

Last year, Tom Field completed 42 years of surgical practice in Jacksonville, Fla. He makes his home now thirty miles south of Jacksonville on State Road 13 on the St. Johns River. He has peacocks, guineas and chickens to feed, and 15,000 day lilies to nurture. Tom's daughter, Mrs. J. W. Hogan, and his son Pete live in Jacksonville. There are three granddaughters and one grandson. Tom's wife died a year ago and he has remarried. Tom sends his regards to all his '07 friends. His present address is Bordereau Farm, Green Cove Springs, Fla.

Harold Parker and his new wife met a year before their marriage. Mrs. Parker has had an extensive musical career in New England and New York. For several years she had been a house director at Wheelock College in Boston. They had a delightful honeymoon on Cape Cod. Are now back in Egypt, Mass. Harold has retired from his engineering association in Boston. Congratulations, Mrs. Parker and Harold, and best wishes from '07.

Don Williams retires as veteran reporter of the Keene (N. H.) Sentinel after 42 years of service. During that period, he is credited with having covered most of the big news stories in Cheshire County. He was also representative of the Associated Press and several Boston newspapers in the Keene area. Don has also served as municipal court clerk, deputy sheriff and school attendance officer for many years, and he will retain these positions. One daughter Dorace has worked with Don on his court duties. The other, Mrs. Medoff, has seven children, ranging from Don Jr., a student at Piedmont College, Winston-Salem, N. C., to two daughters attending Philadelphia Bible Institute; a son at Junior High School, whose grandfather hopes he will go to Dartmouth; two girls in the fifth grade; and a boy four years old. Mrs. Don Williams is no idler herself, having been pastor of the Surry, N. H., Congregational Church for eighteen years. Quite a family, Don!
