Frank Cudworth's new address is Route 3, Box 279, Fontana, 1, Calif. Just what "Cuddy" is doing we do not know but we assume he is with one of the Henry Kaiser plants.

The sincerest sympathy of the class will be extended to Harry Cook in the loss of his son Whitney Mowry Cook, who was on a Japanese prison ship that was sunk close to the shore in Subic Bay by our own bombs and torpedoes. Whitney Cook was graduated from Harvard in 1936, and always being interested in the Navy he sought duty in that branch of the service and was assigned to the gunboat, Luzon, of the Asiatic Squadron. He was taken prisoner soon after Bataan and for nearly three years had suffered the agony and tortures of Japanese prison life. However, throughout all that time he kept his courage and hope, and those with him have paid highest tribute to his steady and resourceful leadership in most trying circumstances. His was a gallant life and he went down fighting.

The good news comes out of Hanover that 1901 will be able to hold their 45th Reunion in Hanover next June. The exact dates are not set, but you will be advised as soon as they are determined by the College. We are going ahead with plans, and shall hope to have all arrangements completed shortly. Please redpencil your calender for June 1946, so as to make some week end a red-letter date, for we want you all to be there, and once again enjoy Hanover in June, and to renew those ties that have grown closer with the passing years.

Dan Rollins Jr., who is a captain in the U. S. Marines, is now in the Marianas, with the Third Marine Division, and was recently appointed divisional air liaison officer.

Deacon Hildreth has been suffering with cataracts on both eyes for the past year. He recently entered Lowell General Hospital for an operation, and we shall hope to hear that he has completely recovered.
