The classmates and his many other Dartmouth friends will sympathize with Robert L. O'Brien' and his children in the death on January 27 in Washington, D. C., of Mrs. O'Brien, of coronary thrombosis following a long illness. Services were held at the Arlington Street Church in Boston, and a beautiful tribute was paid Mrs. O'Brien by the Rev. Dana M. Greeley, the minister of the church, who officiated. As the head of the Disabled Veterans Hospital Service, Inc., of Boston, Mrs. O'Brien had won the respect and affection of the veterans of the First World War.

Classmates remember Deborah Plummer, young daughter of Frank W. Plummer who became Mrs. Robert Hale. Mr. Hale died in August 1944 of wounds received in action. Mrs. Hale and her two sons are residing with her sister Mrs. Elisabeth Norris, in Schenectady, N. Y. Another son of Dr. Plummer, Richard W., is now in Washington, D. C., connected with the Rubber Reserve Corporation.
