Bob Davis won't be with us at Reunion for he is on his way back to France. His entire family are returning to the old home in an endeavor to bring order out of chaos after German occupation. Bob of late years has been somewhat crippled by arthritis, but a visit to the Ponce de Leon Spring at Puerto Rico has done him so much good that ambition has been aroused and determination has come to him to rebuild his farm and business in France.

In writing of a visit he made to Hanover on June 17, 1943, the fortieth anniversary of our graduation, Bob says, "At first I was sad to see the changes, then glad, for a growing nd living thing must evolve. It is a great school with an underlying throb of energy that we didn't have in our day." Again, "If of the boys or their families come to France and get near Bordeaux, I wish they would call on us. Things are in pretty bad shape, but the welcome will be there as good as ever. The address is Chateau Monbrison, Margaux, Gironde, France. It is in the telephone book under the village of Arsac. The warmest of good wishes to you, yours, and any of the boys you may meet." Good luck, Bob, and may success be yours.

Speaking of the Reunion let me tell you that we are going to have a greater number back than we had in 1938- Already thirty-three classmates have signified their intentions of being there, and twenty of the thirty-three are bringing their wives. Our reunion program committee of Ned Kenerson, Ch„ Dick Brown and Bucky Lewers promise that every moment will be given to the greatest family chat we have ever held, and the last day, Sunday, Vic Cutter's will prove the climax of their effort. Wake up you fellows who haven't replied to my challenge and let me hear from you! Don't miss this Reunion of July 19-20.
