COACH TOMMY DENT has put together another strong Dartmouth soccer team, undefeated, at this writing, in its first three games. On their home field, October 18, the green booters got revenge by scoring a 2-1 victory over Army, the only team to beat them last year. Captain Bobby Merriam is again sparking the team with fine play and leadership.

The freshman football team, better known as the Little Green, came through for Coaches Meryll Frost and Art Young by taking over Harvard, 19-6, in its opening contest. Bob Tyler, former captain at Glenbard High School in Glen Ellyn, Ill. (alma mater of Ail-American Bob MacLeod '39), produced two long touchdown runs, and the third score came on a pass from Johnny Clayton to Ted Price.

Coach Elmer Lampe has already called out varsity basketball candidates for preliminary drills on fundamentals. Can winter be far behind?
