ON TUESDAY, December 3, at our weekly luncheon, it was a pleasure to hear from one of our own club members, Warren Kendall '99 Mr. Kendall was recently awarded the Certificate of Merit by President Truman for his services as Director of the Car Service Division, American Association of Railroads during World War 11. The luncheon was a testimonial affair, and in speaking Mr. Kendall brought us up to date on his activities since the signing of the peace.

At 12:30 P.M., December 30, we enjoyed the most successful Undergraduate Luncheon held in recent years. A grand total of 95 persons were in attendance at the Hotel Sheraton. Toastmaster for a program that featured five undergraduate speakers was George Morris '11. Speakers included Mark Lansburgh Jr. '49, Jim Birney '50, Rod McCathran '42, Ira Pearce '48 and Philip Reinertsen '47. An added starter was Howard F. Dunhan '11, a visiting fireman from the faculty, where he is a professor in the Romance Language Department. Hats off to Committee Chairman Brad Cole '431

Lastly, our one-time Secretary-Treasurer, Barry C. Sullivan '36, finally revealed why he resigned his post last fall. On December 14 he was married to Miss Martha King Harris. After a Florida wedding trip, Barry and his wife have settled in Arlington. Our best wishes to them for all the future.
