The finale of the greatest hockey season in Dartmouth's history was played by a group known as the Hanover Indians, comprising the majority of the regular Dartmouth operatives. This team won the National A.A.U. Hockey Championship by decisively defeating the Boston Athletic Association by the score of 6-2. It would not be surprising, in view of this result, if the 1948 American Olympic Hockey Team wore a dark green hue..... Coach Tuss McLaughry is currently testing his football charges in the mud of Chase Field in the hope of coming up with a greatly improved aggregation for the grueling season next fall.
