COME TO THE WEEKLY LUNCHEONS Wednesdays—Cellar Room St. Julien's Restaurant 140 Battery Street—San Francisco
At every weekly luncheon something happens that makes you glad you went to Dart mouth. That is the "Dartmouth Spirit" we know and hear so much about. Even a simple incident as occurred two weeks ago is sufficient to warm your heart Bob Watson '34 attended the luncheon for the first time to find that Line Wilson '13 who was sitting directly across the table ALSO came from Lyndonville, Vermont, "by gorry"!
What happened last Wednesday? It was typical of the "Spirit" we talk about: Emmett Fallon '45 introducing Pete Zischke,
recently from Lake Forest, Illinois, now of San Francisco, who is on his way this week to enroll in Dartmouth, Class of 1952. Thanks to Illinois! We are glad to claim boys like Pete as one of ours (although his brother went to Yale).
William Brown '19 waxing enthusiastic about his new job obtained through the suggestions of our Placement Chairman, "Nase"Young '17.
Joe O'Hare '40, the "Bahston" boy, now residing in Shanghai, with his wife and three children, piloting planes for China National Aviation Corporation, with one trip a month into San Francisco (schedule soon to be changed to allow for arrival in San Francisco on a Wednesday).
AND, next week the scenes change!
