9 Pond St., Newburyport, Mass.

The treasurer's report for the year ending August 1, 1948 has been mailed to the mem- bers so if you have not received your copy drop a line to Norm. I am sure the class realizes the splendid work Norm has been doing and a good way to show our apprecia- tion would be to send him a check for class dues without delay.

Paul Hagberg was in New York the middle of September but I missed him as I was out of the city.

Thanks to Harry Johnson 'O4 I am in receipt of the program of the 175 th anniversary of the Congregational Church of Windsor, Mass. of which Ray Butterfield is the pastor. The church was founded in 1772 and the first pas- tor was Rev. David Avery, who had studied theology with Eleazar Wheelock.

As every member of the class knows, NormRussell is back in Newburyport after six years in government service in Washington. A list of the different positions he held during that time would fill a book. His first work in the War Production Board was with the "nut" section of the building materials branch and I imagine he was still dealing with "nuts" when he left Washington.

Norm is now local representative of the Commonwealth Fund Trusteed Funds, Inc., Boston, Mass.

Ray Cutting reports that he listened re- cently to a very interesting discussion of the college students' good will trip to Europe which was conducted by Charlie Crane.

The Second Grand Combined Dinner in New York of 1905 and 1906 will be held at the Dartmouth Club, Thursday evening, Nov. 18. Every member of both classes will be welcome so make it a date.

During the summer Mr. & Mrs. WalterPowers and Mr. 8: Mrs. Charles Crane were guests at the Hanover Inn.

Bill McGrail has moved his office uptown and is now located at room 7520, Empire State Building.
