By the time this edition goes to press, we of the Dartmouth Club of Baltimore will have enjoyed a pleasant afternoon watching the Hanover Indians run roughshod over Princeton on November 20. The medium will be television.

What will make it doubly entertaining is that plans call for Princeton alumni to be in the same room with us. Either the luxurious quarters of C. P. McCormick's Spice concern (where Clark Barrett '38 has considerable influence) or the plush-lined offices of Judd McCarthy's ('26) distributing headquarters, will be the site of the gathering.

Of course, if Princeton wins, there will be plenty of beer on hand.

All this is in the future, though. Of more immediate import is the thriving business going on the third Wednesday of each month at our Blackstone headquarters. Eighteen members attended our October meet which had the added attraction of taking place on Dartmouth Night.

Various D-Nights through the years were recalled, all the way from the second ever held (by Hal Hastings 'oo) to the very present. In addition, we heard news of the College as portrayed through the invaluable Bulletins we receive each week and had the added pleasure of fancy music from our talented pianist, Chuck Bullock '38.

Late in October there arrived from the College a packet containing the names of 17 hopefuls for the Class of 1953. Once again the task of interviewing candidates is practically upon us.

One final note. The Club has been honored (for a three-month period at least) by the presence of a native Hanoverian, Walt Snickenberger '46. Snick is in town taking a preliminary training course for his company, the identity of which escapes me at the moment. In the brief time he is here, though, we hope to see plenty of him.

And that s the news from here.
