The annual Christmas smoker has been scheduled for Thursday, December 30, between the hours of 4 and 7 P. M. The place will be Town and Country Club in St. Paul. The committee on arrangements hasn't divulged all the details as yet, but we understand it will be a holiday get-together that you won't want to miss. Everybody—including alumni, undergraduates, fathers and visiting alumni are cordially invited.

Eddie Chamberlain dropped in on us a few weeks ago at one of our Monday luncheons. He gave us a good report on the football situation and we hope he can make the twin cities one of his regular stops.

Now for several quick personals: In George Hoke '35 we have a confirmed athlete. If you don't believe me, just listen to what happened to him recently in five successive days while visiting in Seattle. A. Climbed Mount Rainier. B. Fished the Columbia River, catching a 22 lb. salmon. C. Falt-boated the Yakima. D. Bicycled 40 miles around Vancouver Island. E. Cruised up Straits Juan de Fuca.

Incidentally, he put on his expense report that he was attending the American Bar Convention. George does all right in other lines also, having recently been elected to a life membership in the American Law Institute and appointed as Minnesota chairman for the United Nations League of Lawyers.

Rynie Rothschild '21 and Dewey Gruenhagen '21 have both married off daughters recently.
