As this is written, Reunion is a month away. When it has been circulated. Reunion will be history.
However we must begin this page on a sad note. On April 22, Lucille, adorable wife of JohnThompson, passed away. On behalf of every classmate and their families, we express our sorrow and sympathy to John in his bereavement.
Anticipated reunion attendance holds some surprises. Margaret Wilson of San Francisco, daughter of George Wilson, has completed her plans to attend. Mabel Greeley of Champaign, Ill., widow of "Life," expects to be present most of the reunion period. We also expect Leila Knight, widow of Bill Knight, from Rockford, Ill.
Allen Perkins, of LaJolla, Calif., seems to be the only long distance gentleman. "Lish"Winslow, who has served time in the Falmouth Nursing Home, is getting ready to attend with three of his family.
Gladys (Mrs. Cleveland) Foote has completed her annual six months sojourn in Florida and returned to her home on Martha's Vineyard where mail will reach her year round. Dorothea (Mrs. George) Squier expects to be moving back to Vermont some day. Thelma (Mrs. George) Lowe has contributed a delightful tale of life in Leesburg, Fla. Her letter, as well as many others, will be read at Reunion. We have a surprise letter from Emily (Mrs. Edward) Chapman, widow of our late Albert Wheeldon. She is now settled at Hotel Cornwallis, Cornwallis, Ontario. HenryEmery writes a cheerful letter, though he has had his other leg amputated. He is able to get from his bed to his wheel chair under his own power. Quoting one of Art Wyman's characteristic notes in full: "This day returned from Salem Hospital. Quite impossible to be on hand in Hanover this June (have all I can do to stay here!)". We shall have an opportunity to initiate a new member, Helen, wife of Harold Cogswell.
