ABOUT OUR 55TH REUNION

I understand that printed programs showing dates and events of Commencement week activities were mailed from the College secretary's office to members of reunion classes early in May. Nevertheless, I have had requests for such information from classmates and consequently I embody in these notes detailed information hoping the MAGAZINE will be sent out early in June, at least a week before Commencement.

To my knowledge we have one and only one great-grandfather in our Class. Col. H. SheridanBaketel is the distinguished one. In fact he is twice a great-grandfather. He has a great-granddaughter. He also has a greatgrandson, born June 9, 1947, in Bryn Mawr, Pa. Thomas Cathcart Leonards III is the name he bears. I understand that in due time the great-grandson may be entered for a college education either at the University of Pennsylvania or Dartmouth College.

Speaking of greats, grands and just plain Dads, Arthur Bugbee '95 writes that his younger son is ready for College and would like to enter Dartmouth next fall and keep up the tradition of the family from father, 1895, down the century as follows: '91, '89, '74, '72, '69, '66, '64, and '28. Quite a list of grands, greats, great-greats, and three greats.
