The death of James B. Reynolds 'go has removed a familiar and colorful personality of our time. His passing followed close upon his necrology report of the fifty-two classmates who predeceased him which appeared in his class notes for January. At his funeral held in Saint John's Episcopal Church, Washington, D. C., our class was represented by our president, Henry P. Blair.

Mrs. Helen Dearborn Mills has our deep sympathy in the loss of her father. She spent a large part of the winter in Lakeland, Florida. Her son Samuel D. Mills—born in the Philippines in 1925—is a sophomore at the University of Vermont. Her daughter Jean Mills is employed on the staff of the local newspaper in Littleton, N. H.

George Bard early in March, while passing through Boston, gave your secretary the pleasure of a chat with him over the telephone. He reports excellent health and a pleasant though short vacation on his January visit to Florida.

Present indications are that Eighty-Nine will be well represented at our annual gathering in Hanover at Commencement time. Nearly half of our living members already have signified their intentions of being present, health permitting. Housing arrangements are progressing satisfactorily.

Miss Elizabeth Blakely was recently in New York and talked with "Sully" over the telephone. He was well and spoke about plans for Hanover in June. It seems that last summer he

—with his son driving the car—motored to North Tewksbury, Mass., and visited Hilton '90 at his farm there. We all would like very much to meet "Sully's" son, and, methinks, if a room with bath can be assured them for our '89 get-together in Hanover at Commencement time, that the presence of father and son can be fairly relied upon to add enjoyment to our rendezvous.
