This is the time of year when Jack Spring is looking for your attention. If you have not already sent him your contribution for the Alumni Fund why not do so at once. Jack has been doing a fine job as Class Agent and every man should try to make his work as light as possible.

The number of those who had planned to be present at the Golden Fiftieth next June has been reduced by two, for on March 9, 1948, Albert Smith died at Evanston, Illinois, and on March 11, 1948, William A. Kimball died at Plymouth, N. H. Obituary notices appear in the IN MEMORIAM section.

Governor Bradford has reappointed JoeBartlett a trustee of the University of Massachusetts. Joe has been a trustee since 1934 and chairman since 1944- Ted Leggett, during his visit in Florida, had a reunion with Melvin Smith and another one with BillMitchell. He reports that Bill is happily situated down there and living with his two sisters.

Fred Lord returned to Hanover the first part of April after spending the winter at Dunedin, Florida.

It is now definitely certain that there will be a minimum of thirty members of the class back for the grand reunion in June. As most of them will be accompanied by their wives and other members of their families and as several widows of deceased classmates are to be there we may surely count on approximately 75 in attendance. As there are a few from whom we have not heard we strongly urge those to make their plans to be there. We want them all.
