COLORADO'S WORLD-FAMOUS STAG affair—the "Grant Farm Picnic"—will be held early in JULY. Eddie Toothaker 32 is chairman of the committee so you know it will be good! Just in case the Ladies can read: Would you like another Genessee Mountain Picnic in June or September? You'll have to help. Send postcard now to MRS. ELEAZAR, 239 Ash St., Denver.

More hot dope, dupes: As of May 7, 14 of the cream of Denver's high school seniors had been accepted as next September's FRESHMEN. Among them: Fred Carleton Jr., son of Fred '18 and brother of John '50; and Jerry More, son of Bob '13. Other names are secret till the intercollegiate bidding closes on June !5- ~

This will move the unmovables: Dartmouth's "handsome", "rugged", "Talented" GLEE CLUB will be IN DENVER next January 4 or 5. Turn over that last Petty Girl now and check the date. Prexy Will Grant Jr. '31 named the all-important committee: Chairman Ralph Rickenbaugh '28, Harry Litzenberger '32 and Bill Berge '45. P.S. This will not be a stag affair—after all, we want to have SOME fun!

Colorado in HANOVER: Bruce Carson '51 selected from spring football group as player with outstanding talent. Bob Fullerton '51 member of champion frosh relay team (they beat the Varsity), Bill Spoor '46 elected the "outstanding Psi U of 1947-48" (You've heard of the PSI U House. It's the Commons Annex —right out in back).

The last luncheon was very well attended. Unfortunately the movies from Hanover didn't arrive but the gap was well-filled by the delightful (and informative) talk of Trustee W. W. Grant '03.

Bosom pals Orm Birkland '43 and BillTemple '42 are getting married almost on the same day—Bill on May 29, to Marjorie Grantz of Rockford, 111. (Bax Lanius '42 is best man), and Orm on July 7, to Joan Packard of Denver. Dr. Bill Condon '29 lectured at the recent Colorado T.B. Association meeting. DickCampbell '40 has been accepted at the California Institute of Technology for work on his Ph.D. John Litchfield '39 is in California this summer on promotional work for the U.P. REUNION: Class of '18 may go back en masse: Tom Campbell, Fred Carleton, JohnCunningham and Chuck Hilliker. Also NevinCarson '23 is taking his whole family back for his 25th. No monthly luncheons during the summer BUT see you at Ned Grant's '3O Farm in July.
