John Spring, M.D., and his wife Ben spend half the year at home in Nashua, N.H., and the other half in Cocoa Beach, Fla. Son Jack '57, living in Minneapolis, has four daughters, and son David '66, who has a radiology fellowship in San Francisco, has two. John says the oldest of the six, if she wants to go to Dartmouth, should graduate when we have our 60th reunion.

Naomi and Bob Borwell spent Thanksgiving in Williamsburg, Va., and then headed south on their yacht Misty. Plans were to return to Chicago before Christmas and then to the farm in northern Michigan.

Curt and Marian Abel missed the '25 fall gathering in Hanover because of a trip west to see their daughter and her family in the Chicago area. On the way they visited Connie and LouiseKurtz in Ridgeway, Ontario, and George and Fran Zahm in Gowanda, N.Y., both places near Buffalo. After a visit with friends in North Carolina, the Abels completed the 2800-mile trip to their winter home in Delray Beach, Fla. A long trip, and Curt says they plan to fly back and forth in the future.

Lyn White, retired from the business school business, has entered the weather vane field. He does the patterns and has the vanes cast in aluminum. Chief designs shown on his brochure are the marching patriots of The Spirit of '76, the Friendship Sloop and the Alpine Skier.

Whitey also spends time planning and arranging special events for all us '25ers. The big thing for this year is the fall meeting in Hanover, scheduled for three days instead of the two we have had in the past. The dates are September 15-18, and the football game is Princeton — the first Ivy League contest of the season. It is early enough to accommodate those who head for the south each fall and late enough to let us enjoy the colors of the foliage.

This is being written at the turn of the year, the time for resolutions. How about these two for all of us for '77? 1. Visit Hanover in mid- September. 2. Give to the Alumni Fund.
