These notes are written at the Hanover Inn on Oct. 4 by your secretary. Alice and I decided suddenly that we ought to have another look at New England fall foliage, so promptlystarted off for Hanover yesterday and have had the day here and a chance to renew old ties. We have had a delightful visit with the Geigers, and found them with winter porch and double windows on, the garden bedded down ready for winter, and looking as fit as fiddles both of them.
Rogers, our roaming reporter, roamed our way, and looks as amazingly young as ever. Our one regret was that Sally Hall was not able to see us today. We had a nice chat with Dorothy and sent the greetings of the Class as well as our own to Sally.
We think we picked the banner week of the year for foliage. Certainly nothing could be more beautiful than the rolling Hanover hills clothed in a brilliant array of yellows, reds, browns and green. Reunions ought to come at this time of year.
