Our ranks have been strengthened by the return to Reading of Bill Breitinger '37 and his lovely wife Jean. Bill promises to be a regular attender at all our functions. Since the last report, Amos {Dude) Krum has become the father of a mighty fine son.
Better late than never comes the story of our picnic on Saturday, September 24, at LeeBausher's farm near Hamburg. Those who attended their first Eastern Pennsylvania gathering were Stanley Gates '46 of Reading, Gordon Gottshall '41 of Center Valley, and John Blanchard '35 of Macungie. John Blanchard recently arrived from California and purchased a farm near Macungie which we were cordially invited to visit. Incidentally, the pumpkin pies Mrs. Blanchard baked for the picnic were about the finest we've tasted in many years. Others attending the outing were: Milton Shultz '30, John Bernheim '45 and Mrs. Bernheim, Lou Capwell '46 and Mrs. Capwell, Fred Koller '36, Andy Marshall '22 and Mrs. Marshall, Frank Corlett '35, LeeBausher '21, Jim Rick '3l, Carl Erdman '37 and Mrs. Erdman.
Frank Beacham '44 and his wi£e Marion have moved East from California and are now living on Reading Blvd., Wyomissing, Pa.
