Although nothing in the way of a scheduled event has occurred in the Philadelphia Club between this writing and the last, we didn't want to miss this issue and the opportunity to extend the season's greetings to all Dartmouth men throughout the land.

The Philadelphia Alumni have been getting around this football.season. Perhaps you saw Sherry Baketel '20 at the Colgate game in Hanover, or Fred Balch '19 at the Harvard game, Parker Soule '31 at Yale, or HermDavidson '14 at the Columbia victory. JackYoung '47 has been out of Philly every weekend he hasn't missed a game.

We'll be going up to Princeton practically en masse. On November 18, the night before the Palmer Stadium tussle, we plan a smoker and rally at the Princeton Club of all places! We're not trying to appear defiant when we stage a beat-Princeton rally in the Tigers' stronghold. We just have most of our activities there anyway; and furthermore, the boys from Nassau Hall are pretty good friends of ours. Nevertheless, we still aim to cheer the Green on to a victory over the Orange and Black. Art Young '47, of the Dartmouth coaching staff, will be the main speaker at this smoker.

Charley Henry '34 and Jack Heston '28 attended the Alumni Interviewing Committee instructional meeting at the New York Dartmouth Club on October 26.

Whenever you are in Philadelphia on a Monday, plan to join us for lunch at 1223 Locust Street; you'll enjoy it.
