On December 29 the Philadelphia Dartmouth Club's annual Christmas holiday luncheon was held in the William Penn Room of Gimbel Brothers' Philadelphia store. There were 61 fathers, undergraduates and alumni in attendance. Club President Ernie Wright '28 officiated and Dr. George Hahn '32 greeted the undergraduates and their dads on behalf of the Club. Bill Kane '50 spoke for the undergraduates. Mr. Frank Binswanger, a Dartmouth father and prominent Philadelphia real estate man, addressed the group for the dads. We were also favored with a word of greeting from Mr. Ellis Gimbel, grand old man and only surviving founding member of the nationally known Gimbel Brothers' department stores.
