It's seldom we make a real "scoop"; but here's one, of nationwide interest, we picked up from a squirrel at Independence Square who knows what goes on at Curtis Publishing Company. The February 1952 issue of Holiday Magazine will include an article on Dartmouth College by Budd Schulberg '36. We understand the story will cover considerably more than an account of Winter Carnival.

The annual Christmas holiday luncheon for undergraduates and alumni is again planned for this year. Detailed information regarding this will be mailed in mid-December.

Bill Housel '42 has been appointed chairman of the Philadelphia area enrollment committee. This committee will be concerned mainly with furnishing information about Dartmouth and alumni speakers to secondary schools in the general vicinity of Philadelphia. Alumni Councilor Jack Heston '28 advises that the first mailing of interview forms for class of 1956 applicants has been received. The first batch includes 27 boys from metropolitan Philadelphia. We can expect another, slightly larger, mailing in the first week of December and another in the first week of January. Should you be interested in assisting in the interviews of prospective Dartmouth men, telephone Jack Heston at LOmbard 3-1364.

We hope you'll join us for lunch some Monday at noon at 1223 Locust Street.
