South Florida

The Dartmouth spirit in South Florida certainly has good reason for a decided upswing due to the activities of Bob Pierce '25, our Alumni Council representative. Bob returned from his vacation chock full of news and views of Hanover. He reported at length on his visit to the College.

The Club is looking forward to the visit of Professor Arthur M. Wilson in January and has only one regret and that is the distance from Miami to Hanover which precludes the chances of more visits from Dartmouth personnel. However, our President, Milt Patterson '30, was able to span a great part of the distance to attend the Yale game.

The roster of our club is undergoing many changes and shows a few new names as well as several deletions. Line Daniels '34 has moved to New York City, Sidney Barr '36 has returned to Auburn, N. Y. Dick Plumer '12 has taken a position on the faculty of Rollins College at Winter Park, Fla. We have added some new members in the interim namely Dick Potter '41, Abraham Cohen '27 and Charles N. Hammond '24.
