A year ago the club enjoyed a very pleasant dinner and evening at the Lauderdale Yacht Club so the members decided to repeat the performance this year. Coincident with the meeting the election of officers was held and the officers for the coming year are as follows: President, George Loehr '20; Vice Presidents, Bennet K. Watts '26, George M. Houghton '28, G. B. Davidson '13; Secretary-Treasurer, Charles T. Garnsey '20; Executive Committee, Allan C. Gottschaldt '18, ]. Weston Dunaway '43, Philip Dressier '39. We were able to get the latest DOC film which was very entertaining and Dick Potter '41 gave us a talk about the football prospects for next fall.

Warren Chamberlain '20 and Al Bisson '42 were back on deck. Warren having been laid up in the hospital for a surgical overhaul and Al Bisson, who must have been overcome by all of the South American beauties he has been flying over, had to take a forced rest of several months. As usual the club is going to continue luncheons throughout the summer and the program chairman is already cooking up an outing of some kind to help pass the summer season.

DARTMOUTH ATHLETICS 70 YEARS AGO were described by Henry G. Peabody at the Southern California Club dinner, which took place in Pasadena on the last clay of March. Mr. Peabody, at the age of 95, held the undivided attention of his large audience for 20 minutes, and left it wanting more of his stories about the prowess of Dartmouth athletes in the past.
