FATHER AND SON BANQUET
Word from Ed Winsor states that plans for the Father and Son Banquet to be held on Saturday night, March 5, in Hanover, are coming along very nicely. The dinner will be held at the Outing Club house at 13.00 per person. The committee urges that every father make an effort to attend with his son. All other members of the class are cordially invited. With the big delegation of sons in Hanover this should be a fine get-together.
The New York papers recently carried news of one of our classmates. It has been an- nounced that Sumner J. Robinson has been made General Sales Manager for the Bigelow- Sanford Carpet Company. For seven years after he left college, he worked for the Bigelow-Sanford Company and then joined the Goodall Fabric Company in New York where he has been since 1931. He has a son at Andover who will be ready to enter Dartmouth next fall Doug Craig received a recent promotion in the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. He has been made a second vice president in the ordinary insurance department Bunny and Charlie Holbrook were recent visitors to New York on their annual Christmas trip. Charlie had an article appearing in a recent issue of the New Hampshire Troubadour entitled, "Buying a Home in New Hampshire." .... Frank Harrington and his wife were recent visitors to Hanover where they visited their son who is now in the junior class.
It is our sad duty to report another death of a classmate, Bill Short, who died suddenly in New York City on December 20. Bill was unmarried. We will try to get further details of his career for a future issue. He had his own air conditioning business in New York City.
