Over 350 Dartmouth alumni, undergraduates and friends gathered Tuesday evening, March 29, to hear the Dartmouth College Glee Club give one of the finest concerts ever heard in these parts. The Merion War Tribute House was packed with an enthusiastic crowd to over-capacity, which would indicate that the next time the Club is in town, we will have to arrange for accommodations twice as large. After the Concert ended, the main ballroom was cleared and tables set up for the party and dance which followed. It was a grand evening, a wonderful time was had by all, and if sufficient interest warrants, we will start making arrangements and set up a committee to plan the event on an annual basis.

You know the fellow who got the stand for the Glee Club members to stand upon, the homes for them to eat and sleep in, the table-cloths, pretzels, potato chips, soft drinks, setups, glasses, and a hundred other details that go to make up a successful party—that was Herb Heston, the new Treasurer. ErnieWright, our President, was seen exerting plenty of physical effort carrying stacks of extra chairs up—we could go on and on with names of alumni who helped put the party over, but then someone would be left out, so thanks to all who participated.

On March 28 we had a joint Dartmouth Alumni and American School Administrators Association luncheon with Prof. A. O. Davidson, Chairman of the Department of Education at Dartmouth, presiding. About thirty Philadelphia alumni and Dartmouth men in the educational field attended.

The executive committee composed of the officers of our Club and John Flanagan '28, "Bud" Jopson '45, Jim Tindle '36, "Obie"Obermayer '46 meet the second Monday of every month to discuss future plans. It is interesting to know that a group of the younger alumni are taking a more active part in club affairs. By the time this article appears in the ALUMNI MAGAZINE a dinner meeting will have been held for men in the last five or six classes to explain more fully what our organization has to offer.

Hats off to Joe Flounders '47—the DIRECTORY is out Remember weekly informal luncheons at the Princeton Club every MONDAY.
