"Become a Student for a Day" was our theme song and that's just what happened on Wednesday, April 27, to a goodly gathering of Dartmouth alumni, their wives and friends, who attended Hanover Holiday at Hampshire House on Beacon Street in Boston. Prof. Dimitri von Mohrenschildt discussed "Russia Since the War" in a most interesting manner at the 4:00 P.M. Classroom Session. After cocktails and buffet supper, Prof. Arthur M-Wilson explained "The Great Issues Course with its many ramifications. Ad Winship did a splendid job presenting this decidedly "different affair" and those present indicated by their keen interest and applause that they had a most enjoyable time and will consider it a "must" for next year. We hope the Professors enjoyed themselves as much as we did having them with us. Their presentations made us realize the splendid work being performed by the College in this direction.

This report goes to press as "Dartmouth at pops" hits the headlines. All Dartmouth folks in this area attend and the Dartmouth Glee Club and "Pops" Orchestra, under Arthur Fiedler, are always at their very best for this occasion.

COMING EVENTS .... Saturday, June 11 —our second Dartmouth Alumni "Hum" at Noble and Greenough School, which is delightfully located on the Charles in Dedham, giving us delightful atmosphere for this spring event. Co-sponsoring this with us are the Dartmouth Women's Club and the Dartmouth Charles River Club. Come rain or shine and bring the entire family, friends, and your picnic supper. There will be a concert by the alumni musical organizations and plenty of group singing, games, and fun for the youngsters.

July (date to be announced)—another highlight event, Dartmouth Clam Bake at the Thompson Club, Nahant, co-sponsored with the North Shore Dartmouth Club.

August (date to be announced)— Dartmouth Golf Tournament at Dedham Polo & Country Club. Plan to attend all of these splendid events. You will be amazed at the number of friends on hand.
