The Northwest

Early returns indicate a huge attendance at the forthcoming Annual Picnic on June 23. The location as usual is Henry Thrall's Farm near the Minnesota River. Directions on how to get there will gladly be furnished on request. Call or write your secretary. Once there, you're on your own. The beer keg will reside in its usual spot behind home plate overlooking Coronary Field. Umpires will again outnumber the players and their decisions are expected to be interesting.

Honored guests will include Dartmouth men recently accepted for admission. Dartmouth Fathers are cordially invited, as at all Northwest Alumni functions.

Picnic arrangements are in the capable hands of Morrow Peyton and his assistants are: Don Norton, Whit Miller, Bob Krieger,Jim Vaughan, Bobb Chaney, and EddieLynch. With this bunch in charge anything can happen.

A few summer job applications have been received from undergraduates who are looking for outdoor construction work in Minnesota during June, July, and August. If you are interested in hiring any of these men or know of available jobs for them please contact the Secretary.
