This month's report on the doings of '19ers is principally about who went to what football games. In Hanover for the set-to with Holy Cross were Rock and Alice Earle Hayes,Jock and Edna Murray, Bill and Mrs. Alderman, Paul and Catherine Halloran, Jack andHester McCrillis, Chet Demand, Bob andAnne Lewis, Al Googins and Tom and JackReilly, the latter with four stalwart sons, one of whom is in the freshman class and playing football.

From all reports, the Pow-Wow held at the time of the Michigan game was a tremendous success due in a large measure to the efforts of Phil Watson as chairman of the committee, aided by Staff Hudson as president of the Dartmouth Club of Detroit. Phil rates a big hand for the success of the whole affair. '19ers present at either the game or the festivities before and afterward included Tracy Kohl,Phil and Ruby Watson, Staff and Verna Hudson, Chet and Emily Gale, Bill McCarter, Jimand Polly Wilson, Win and Harriet Batchelder, Norm and Ruth Jeavons, Lou and JaneCody, Red and Trudel Washburn, Blakeand Mrs. Vinkemulder, Stan Mauk, Grief andCathy Raible, Lou and Harriet Munro and Lou Stone. On Sunday the Raibles staged a party for some of the gang at their new home in Cleveland and Bob and Mrs. Stecher joined the aforementioned Gales, Codys, Jeavons, Munros and Mauks in what was, from all reports, a fitting climax to a fine weekend.

Reports on classmates at the Penn game are non-existent, save for the fact that HarryColwell—head of New Rochelle Community Chest—made his annual trek to Philadelphia.

The annual fall class get-together and luncheon in Hanover on October 21 was voted a great success, even though the game was a disappointment. Cotty Larmon presided at the refreshment stand with his customary skill, and, with our esteemed treasurer Max Norton and Dick Dudensing's thoughtfulness in providing the cocktail ingredients (courtesy of Bellows), was responsible for the good time had by all. Kitty Larmon, Helen Norton and Spike Dudensing were present along with Bill Allen, Jack andBetty Clark, Chug and Dot Sears, Ray andPearl Adams, Jock and Edna Murray, Kenand Marge Huntington, Fat Jackson, JackWilliams, Spider and Bea Martin, Casey Bevan, Stu and Dot Russell, Ray and HarrietHinds with Ray Jr. and Jack Berry from Portland, Me., who hasn't checked in on a class gathering in some time and was most welcome. Guests from other classes included Jim and Barbara Huntington '48, honeymooning at the farm in Orford, Herm and Mrs. Whitmore '18, John and Maria Hazen. '14, Bob and Evie Colwell '18, Ted and Mrs. Hazen '18, and Jack Taylor '22, who found the pace set by Jackson and Russell a stiff one. Fred Laird couldn't make it as he was officiating, and the Russ Potters couldn't get back up to Hanover, having recently spent a few days there. There were many others who regretted their inability to attend—next year let's have fewer regrets and a larger attendance.

Other classmates visiting Hanover during the early fall, not previously mentioned, were Ken Smith, Charlie and Mrs. Biddle, now residing in Cambridge, Mass., Nick and DotSandoe, Bob and Mrs. Paisley and Ralph andMrs. Welsh. Your Sec.'s annual suggestion to 'xgers distant from Hanover—plan a trip to arrive during early October—maybe you have forgotten how New England looks at that time of year.

As usual, the weekend of the Harvard game was full of activities for 'igers—PhilBird, assisted by Rock Hayes, really staged some fine parties. Things started Friday evening with a stag dinner at Dinty Moore's, then on Saturday a luncheon for all at the Hotel Commander in Cambridge. Following the game some of the gang stopped back at the Commander for refreshments prior to going elsewhere. Present at one or all of the doings were Dan and Mrs. Featherston, with Dan Jr., Casey Bevan, Jack and Betty Clark, Edith Bixby with son Curt and wife Marjorie, Rock and Alice Earle Hayes, Herb and Mrs.Fleming, Phil and Helen Bird with daughter Meredith, Jim and Mary Davis, Spider andBea Martin, Bob Proctor, Morris Freedberg,Jack and Hester McCrillis, Ray Hinds, Louand Harriet Munro, Bill McCarter, Bill Cunningham, Jock and Edna Murray, Al Googins,Bunny and Madelaine Collins, with daughter and son-in-law, and Bill and Marion White. A most welcome classmate at the luncheon who hasn't attended a class affair in a long time was H. Marshall (Chad) Chadwell with Mrs. Chadwell, now residing in Washington.

That's all for now, and the season's greetings to all of you and a happy and prosperous and healthy New Year.
