The New York contingent of 'lgers got together at the Dartmouth Club on January 27 for our first class dinner in many moons, and all present had a fine time. Checking in for the affair were Paul Halloran (Paul's first opportunity to attend in many years), Chet DeMond, Vice President of the Class and its youngest member having only recently hit the 50 mark, Hal Parsons, LouMunro, Ken Huntington, Lew Garrison, TomBresnahan, Harry Colwell, Class PresidentJack McCrillis, just returned from a sojourn in Florida, Bri Greeley, Mai Drane, MoseRobinson, Clarence Buttenwieser, Fred Blanpied and last, but far from least, that irrepressible tycoon of the baking industry and heckler extraordinary, Fat Jackson. Batch stopped in early but couldn't stay for dinner, likewise Dick Dudensing and VaughnLittle.
Phil Watson is chairman of the committee on arrangements for an old-fashioned Dartmouth Pow Wow in Detroit the weekend of the Michigan game, October 7. Preliminary plans include a banquet Friday night with President Dickey the principal speaker, special trains to Ann Arbor Saturday, and a dinner dance Saturday evening. Staff Hudson is working on the big affair also and is president of the Detroit Alumni Association, having been recently re-elected to that office.
Vacationing at Southern Pines, N. C., BobLewis reports having a nice visit with Norris(Doc) Hodgkins. Russ Potter, the big public relations man in N. Y., recently became a grandfather and now it is "two grandsons and one granddaughter."
From Cleveland, or rather Warrensville Heights, Ohio, comes a letter from NormJeavons—Norm and Ruthie are reasonably well settled in their new home. More from the Jeavons' in a later issue of the MAGAZINE. Likewise from the Cleveland area, Greif and Cathy Raible moved to their new home in Chesterland just before Christmas. The Rabbi promises to be among the throng at Ann Arbor on October 7 next. See you in April.
