At our annual Dartmouth Night dinner meeting at Druid Hills Country Club, October 20, sixteen members gathered to raise voices for the Alma Mater. The singing drowned out the College Glee Club as recorded on Campion's record album.

New officers for the coming year assumed their duties after the usual reports covering the past year: President, John H. O'Brion '32; Vice-Presidents, Charles B. Altman '24 and Alva S. Wilson '25; Secretary-Treasurer, LouisJ. Fortuna '38. A vote of thanks was given to our outgoing president, Joseph R. Stone '30.

In addition to above officers the following were present: Carl Bremer '46, Charles H. Chapman '33, Graham R. Conklin '43, W. C. Dreier '24, R. F. Exton '29, Dr. John Fish '34, Bill Marsh '31, Dr. Ben Read '32, Al Starrett '29, George Hawkins '31, Ted Walters '46, and Walt "Rubber" Floyd '14.

Alumni Councilor Bob Pierce '25 of Miami, in Atlanta for the Georgia Tech-Kentucky game as a member of the Orange Bowl Committee, met with the officers and Bill Marsh on October 28 to brief them on the College's interest in recruiting men for future freshman classes. Bill Marsh along with Alva Wilson and Louis Fortuna are attending "college day" gatherings being held by Atlanta city and county schools where senior students are assembled, introduced to the representatives of the various schools throughout the country and then reassembled in small groups led by the representative of the school of their choice. In addition, meetings are planned with parents of these students at evening assemblies. To date, we have attended two high school gatherings and scheduled meetings with other schools in the metropolitan area. Members and visitors to Atlanta are invited to our monthly luncheon held at DavisonPaxon at 12:30 on the last Thursday of each month.
