On January 24 a cocktail and dinner meeting was held at the Athletic Club. Bob Pierce '25, our Alumni Council representative, gave an orderly and complete report on the council meeting in Hanover the week before. In addition to the names of members listed below we welcomed two guests, Chris Allen, who is manager of Life in this area, and his son, Tommy, who is anxious to go to Dartmouth under the NROTC program next fall.

Those attending were Phil Coykendall '25, Bill Dreier '24, Louis Fortuna '38, Francis George '31, Bill Marsh '31, Al Starrett '29, Joe Stone '30, Walt (Rubber) Floyd from Cartersville, Brad Foss '25 and Charles Van S. Mottla '44 from Athens.

Plans were laid to establish a monthly luncheon which will be held the last Thursday of each month at 12:30 at the Davison- Paxon Dining Room. Also a committee to develop recruits for Dartmouth is being organized and an active program prepared.

We welcome to the local club Francis E.George '31, who is connected with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, and George A.Hawkins '31, who is Southeastern Branch Manager for Fairbanks Morse & Company.

All Dartmouth men who are in Atlanta on the last Thursday of the month will be welcome at our luncheon at Davison's.
