The big item this month, of course comes from Providence, and has already been released through the Class Letter. We are delighted that Ray Trott is taking over the burden of Class Agent from Jack Conners, although Jack will continue to carry on the News Letter. No better man could be picked for this job, and as the time is approaching when the Alumni Fund comes into its ascendency, let's get behind Ray, 100 percent, and respond early, saving him and his assistants hours of work. His is a thankless job at best and we can do our part by responding early.

It is impossible for me to express in words the very deep appreciation that I feel to Jack Conners for the really outstanding job that he has done, not only for the Class of 1914, but for the College. I have had many Class Agents speak of his work and have heard them express their gratitude for the help, advice and stimulation that he has given to them. A Wah Hoo Wah for Jack Conners.

At the request of the MAGAZINE we are cutting our notes to the bone this month to make room for the 1949 Alumni Fund Report in spite of an interesting accumulation of news.
