The following is a summary of the fall activities of the Eastern New York Alumni Association.

The club held its Pre-College Luncheon on September 14 at Jack's Restaurant. DonBridge '39 was chairman and Rem Kinne '28, president of the club, presided. Twenty-two alumni and students attended. Dr. Evan Collins '33, President of the New York State Teachers College, gave a short and interesting talk.

In October Sherman Murphy 37, Bill Johnson '31 and Rem Kinne '28 attended the Educational Conference at Bethlem Central High School, Delmar, N. Y. The purpose of this conference was to talk to students and parents interested in the different colleges.

November 10 we held our 30th annual Dartmouth-Cornell pre-game dinner at Kapps Restaurant. Sherman Murphy '37 was chairman of the dinner committee, assisted by Stanley Carter '44 and Chandler Stein '45. A cocktail party was held at the University Club to welcome and meet the speaker of the evening, Bob Kane, director of athletics at Cornell. After his interesting talk, we saw movies of Cornell football games of 1948-

The Club has deckled to have annual dues (voluntary) to help defray cost of mailing and other incidentals.

We are now making plans for the Annual Spring Dinner. Bill Embler '28 is Chairman.
