THE ANNUAL. ALUMNI FUND REPORT is presented this month, accounting, as usual, for the thickest issue of the year. In addition to the report on the results of the 1949 campaign, listed in the table of contents below, the names of contributors and the photographs of last year's Class Agents will be found in the class-notes section.

Feature articles this month deal with a forgotten Dartmouth man, Dan'l Adams, 1197, by Prof. David E. Adams '13 of Mt. Holyoke (Page 23); the 1950 Hanover Holiday, by its director, Prof. Herbert W. Hill (Page 21); and Crosby Days, a reminiscence of the famous old dorm of 40-odd years ago, by Jack Childs '09 (Page 29). News and pictures of Winter Carnival will be found in The Undergraduate Chair (Page 25) and Big Green Teams (Page 33).
