Pi Lambda Phi last month won the plaque for combined achievement in the 1950-51 Interfraternity Competition. The awards were made October 9 by Arthur H. Kiendl Jr. '44, Assistant to the Dean, who is in charge of fraternity affairs.
Kappa Sigma finished second in combined achievement, which includes athletics, scholarship, special events, and house administration. Awards were also made for achievement in each of the four divisions: athletics, Beta Theta Pi with Alpha Delta Phi the runner-up; Pi Lambda Phi, scholarship, with Sigma Nu second; special events, Phi Sigma Kappa, with Theta Chi second; house administration, Kappa Kappa Kappa, with Delta Upsilon second.
Of the 23 competing fraternities, the top ten in all-around achievement were: Pi Lambda Phi, Kappa Sigma, Delta Tau Delta, Sigma Nu, Theta Chi, Kappa Kappa Kappa, Sigma Phi Epsilon, Phi Delta Theta, Delta Upsilon and Theta Delta Chi.
