The first event of the fall season was an informal luncheon at the Roosevelt Hotel on September 22 in honor of our two undergraduates, Jimmy Howard '53 and Jimmy McCarthy '55. Others attending were: Professor J.A. Brown '02, Justin McCarthy '15, I.M. Sulzbacher '34, Al Seitner '34, and Lawrence Howard Jr. '51.

Dartmouth Night was celebrated October 19 with an enjoyable gathering at I. M. Sulzbacher's playroom. With the exception of the undergraduates, all of those who attended the luncheon were present, plus Dr. TomField '07, Paul Wessells '40, and Lt. M.E.Hagen '44. Business out of the way (the reelection of J. A. Brown as president, Al Seitner as secretary-treasurer, and the honorary election of Lawrence Howard Sr. to membership in our Club) we saw the two new excel-lent color movies from Hanover, DartmouthOutdoors and My First Week at Dartmouth. Through the cooperation of Paul Wessels and Lawrence Howard Jr. these films were also shown at the local high schools. With these and the pioneer work done in connection with President Dickey's visit last spring, we hope to increase the representation of this section of the country in Hanover.
