Student adjustment in the present mobilization period has been remarkably good, Dr.Chauncey N. Allen '24, professor of psychology at Dartmouth, told 100 members and guests at the annual winter luncheon of the Dartmouth Club of Worcester County (Mass.) at Putnam and Thurston's Restaurant, Worcester, December 27. He told of the anticipated cut in enrollment of from 25 to 50 per cent next year because of military demands, and discussed financial aid to needy students which, he said, totaled $386,000 last year, with less than half coming from endowment.

Jeffrey O'Connell '51 of Worcester, president of Palaeopitus, spoke on undergraduate activities. Alton K. Marsters '30 of Southbridge, Mass., chairman of the Worcester County Scholarship Fund, said a deserving secondary school senior from Worcester County would benefit from the fund next year. Joseph G. Byram '32, club first vice president, presided. Football movies were shown.
