Time. End of the year. New Year. New Decade! (Every class in Hanover now is a class of the nineties.) Tenth-year reunion. Time to look back and to move ahead.
Roy and Leigh (Limbach) Johnson, along with son, Calvin, are adjusting to the time change in Sydney, Australia. Roy is in charge of Australia's 3Com office. Roy and Leigh are trying to organize Australia's 14 alums.
Back here on the Southeast coast, I am trying to organize local alums, most of whom have been alums for a long time. At one meeting on Hilton Head, I was the youngest alum by 25 years. My immediate seniors were in turn the youngest alums by 25 years. As one gentleman told me as he pointed to his wife, "I've been married to her for 50 years—that's a long time!"
My cosecretary is now keeping time in a state of marital bliss. Yes, Cathy McGrath is married, although she tried to keep it a secret. She wed Bill Kissick, who is in his second year at Wharton, on August 26 in the White Church in Hanover. Finding time to attend the wedding celebration were Bob Lisk, Geoff Edelson, Kim McConnaughy Vletas, Ann Munves, and Bobby Brown.
Time for our 10th Reunion is quickly approaching. Mark your calendars—June 15- 17, 1990. Bring the spouse and kids, and we'll all have a grand time. Before then, contact Susan Faeerstrom about your nominees for new class officers.
Parker Small reports that reponse to the request for slides for the reunion show are good but we need more, from more people. They can be from anytime during the past ten years and need not be of exotic settings or exciting things. Parker also wants volunteers with enough pictures of themselves, 25 or so, to be featured in more depth. Call him at 212/288-8780. In the meantime, all of you take care. Best wishes for the holidays and a Happy New Year. That's all I have time for, for now.
