The local alumni are finding that the future schedule of events for the club is a full one. We have just concluded a most successful two days with Eddie Chamberlain '36 as our guest. Eddie addressed a luncheon meeting on January 31 of alumni, local high school principals, and high school educational advisers. In all about 60 persons were in attendance, and the reports from our guests were heartwarming Eddie was at his best. That evening Ed addressed the alumni at their annual banquet. Despite snow and zero temperature, 85 alumni were present. Our president, Dick Loughry '34, presided and Bob Steelier '19 acted as toastmaster. If the success of any affair can be determined by the time at which those attending leave for home, the annual banquet can be classified as most successful.

Friday noon, March 30, marks the date of our annual meeting and election of officers. Members will be notified in more detail at a later date but keep that noon open and available so as to welcome the new administration and to make certain that those of us now in office do depart.

Plans are well under way for the Glee Club concert and dance. It is to be held on April 4, at 8:30 P.M. in the ballroom of the Hotel Cleveland. The committee in charge is headed by Bob Conway '42, who is being assisted by Al Hutton '41, John Knutsen '40, WallyMeckes '42, and Lou Weitz '35. In the past the appearance of the Glee Club has meant the largest of our affairs and we hope that this year will be no exception. Announcements are being prepared for our members and we hope that this year will find us with packed halls.
