The Dartmouth Club of Cleveland held a combined annual meeting and annual banquet on March 29. At the annual meeting the Club unanimously swept out of office all incumbents and installed a completely new slate for the coming year. My successor will report to you the complete slate of new officers and the new Executive Committee as well as their plans for the future. It might be noted here at least that the new President is J. Richard Loughry '34, the new Secretary, Louis Weitz '35, and the new Treasurer, Edmund J. sprankle '30.

Approximately 85, including several undergraduates, attended the annual meeting at which Jack Childs '09, ably presided. The Club had the pleasure of receiving a report on the affairs of the College from RichardW. Morin '24, Executive Officer of the College.

Plans are being made to repeat this year the party given by the Club for successful applicants for next fall's freshman class. Tentative plans contemplate that the party will be held at the Cleveland Arena and will consist of a supper followed by attendance at one game of the professional hockey playoffs.

We regret the necessity of having to record here the death on March 13 of Art Hale '20, from a heart ailment. Art was ever an active and loyal alumnus and his interest and participation in affairs of the Club will be greatly missed.

The Club has completed arrangements with the College for the purchase of a memorial volume for Baker Library in the name of Bob Cowen '53, who was killed in a plane crash.

The Club at the annual meeting expressed its appreciation to Howard Schuemann '33, for his able leadership during the past year, and your retiring correspondent heartily joins in this expression.
